We are looking for Mystery Readers to share their love of reading with our class! Grade one parents, older siblings, grandparents, relatives, or other special people may volunteer to read a story to our class. The goal is to remain a “mystery” so that even your own child is surprised to learn who our weekly Mystery Reader will be!
Please email us so that we can set up a time for you to come into the class, send five facts about yourself that will be used as clues for the students to guess who the Mystery Reader might be! Here is a sample set of clues that a Mystery Reader might write: 1. My favorite book when I was in first grade was Charlotte's Web. 2. I was the youngest child in my family growing up. 3. My family has one dog as a pet. 4. I love to watch movies with my family. 5. My favorite family vacation is going to Jasper every summer.
Remember, you are a mystery to the class, so PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE, try not to tell your child when you will be coming! We can't wait to meet our . . . Mystery Readers!
